Plastocure CC Environmental, Health & Safety Policy

Plastocure CC shall uphold its position as a leader in the industrial polymer industry by conducting all production and operations in a manner that is protective of the environment, health and safety of employees, customers, and the community. Plastocure CC products, equipment, and systems shall be supplied specified, transported and operated with the goal of meeting this commitment

In fulfilment of this commitment, Plastocure CC shall maintain a continuing effort to:

1.         Comply with all applicable environmental, health and safety (EHS) laws and regulations, as well as Plastocure CC EHS requirements.

2.         Operate on-site and remote facilities in a manner that protect the environments, the health and safety of our employees and customers, and the communities in which we operate.

3.         Provide Plastocure CC employees with training in occupational health and safety, hazardous materials management, fire prevention and response, and environmental awareness, consistent with highest standards of professional practice.

4.         Proactively investigate all workplace accidents and illnesses in order to promptly correct any unsafe conditions or practices and maintain records accordingly.

5.         Strive to integrate EHS considerations into business planning and decision-making and assess EHS impacts and issues involved in the design, manufacture and marketing of existing and new products.

6          Champion and support EHS responsibility among our employees in their practices, and facilitate and value their involvement and proactive taking of responsibility in achieving the goals of this policy.

7.         Promote pollution prevention, including the conservation of energy, water and raw materials resources, and ensure that all waste is handled and disposed of responsibly.

8.         Strive to achieve the ambitious goal of zero wasted resources, zero injuries and zero illnesses.

9.        Initiate an EHS management system as the framework for evaluating EHS impacts, developing programs, monitoring performance and reviewing progress, and achieving environmental responsibility and accountability throughout the company.

10.        Foster and promote environmental sustainable business practices through participation in industry groups, government agency forums, advocacy and citizen groups in the development of practical legislation's, innovative technologies and best management practices.

11.        Inform our suppliers, vendors and business partners of our EHS policy and goals, and where practicable, give preference to those business partners whose policies and practices are consonant with out own.
